Dear Nicola Zichella
In his latest book mentioned above, Jim offers what in English we refer to
as 'a wake-up call', something to alert individuals to something serious
that is likely to happen in the near future. The book is concerned with the
behaviour of the Earth system, what he calls Gaia theory, and how mankind
has been steadily disabling some of its ability to regulate itself, with
unfortunate results. The Italian edition of the book should be appearing
soon.
